Several topics about digital currencies recently pop up. Indeed Bitcoin is the most popular one, but other alternatives are already in place. E.g. Ethereum, IOTA, Litecoin, Zcash, Dash, Ripple, Monero. What is your experience on these? Do you maybe know other ones and which could be the future for the digital currencies?
I have personally invested in ETH purely due to the technology that the the Ethereum blockchain can offer and LTC due to the fact is being a "faster" version of BTC meaning it should always scale alongside BTC (which ironically it hasn't over the passed day since I wrote this, it scaled with ETH).
With regards to the future I wouldn't know what to suggest, my opinion is whichever crypto's disrupt a market should stay providing the community and the dev's behind it believe in the technology and aren't just in it to make a buck.
Ifreal world value from the application being built on the chain is generated the currency should in theory have some as well.
Bitcoin Cash should be another on your list. It fulfills the original promise of Bitcoin as a peer-to-peer e-payment system - e.g. super fast, low fees, reliable, secure, and the like. It will also be available on popular bitcoin wallets, like Coinbase, come Jan (https://blog.coinbase.com/update-on-bitcoin-cash-8a67a7e8dbdf).
Hope this helps.
