Wind Turbine transportation weight limits/logistics challenges

Utility-scale wind turbines are twice as heavy and twice as tall as they were 10 years ago. Steel towers are the norm reaching 120+ meters. WInd resource locations as more and more remote. What changes does the transportation/logistics industry anticipate in the next 5-10 years in order to address the need for "more/bigger/taller" given the enthusiasm, momentum and financial leverage in the renewable energy industry in the U.S. and globally?

Wind powered generators will be mostly off-shore and further away from the shore. Modular construction at a port close to the installation site and transportation of modules to the installation infrastructure will be in the future.
