As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Lead in PepsiCo R&D, drives operational excellence and cost savings. Trains and coaches both Kaizen Leaders and Lean Six Sigma Green Belts. Provides statistical strategy, training and guidance to the global R&D organization, especially in the areas of Sensory & Consumer Research. Lean Six Sigma MBB:
• Provide Lean Six Sigma (LSS) consulting and training services in PepsiCo R&D. Lead key projects to improve revenue, market penetration, share of the wallet, quality, reduce cost, waste and cycle time.
• Serve as technical expert, role model, mentor, and agent of change for development and refinement of LSS projects. Educate, advise, and guide Lean Six Sigma practitioners in PepsiCo R&D to achieve the best possible implementation of LSS.
• Deliver LSS training in a classroom environment across R&D locations in USA and abroad, facilitate hands-on exercises and simulations, and coach LSS projects.
• Create, customize, and modify existing Lean Sigma training materials based on R&D needs assessments and knowledge of industry practices.

Statistics support:
• Provide technical support, experimental designs, predictive modeling, training and data analysis in the area of statistical science for PepsiCo Global R&D, primarily accountable for Beverages R&D associates based in Valhalla.
• Influence the use of statistical tools and drive increased level of R&D self-sufficiency in the area of data analysis and interpretation.
• Proactively recommend designs that increase the effectiveness, productivity and success rate of product and manufacturing processes from early development through launch.
• Collaboration with project leaders where statistical thinking and approaches can result in better decisions. Effectively translate statistical concepts and issues to non-statistical audiences.
