Starting with the belief that happiness starts with health, I have devoted myself to optimizing heath and healthcare delivery for all.
I am a creative and innovative healthcare strategist and thought leader with a keen interest in empowering providers, patients and caregivers to take charge of their health. This includes better communication between healthcare providers, payers, the life sciences, communities, and patients/caregivers; ensuring access to healthcare all over the world; and, importantly, the use of data and research to advance public health world-wide.
I’ve long strived to make a difference; to impact at least one person. As I progressed through life I have worked in diverse healthcare settings each providing insights that led me to focus my efforts on addressing aging. Working in hospitals, I learned about healthcare settings where people are most vulnerable. At Oxford Health Plans, we pioneered a new way to reimburse healthcare that put focus on quality outcomes. While at Pfizer, I was able to explore various topics in healthcare and science as featured blogger for Think Science Now and helped advance their Center of Excellence on Active and Healthy Aging creating a strategy and building the aging and technology workstream. It became clear to me that my reach would be more impactful outside of a large organization. I am also an artist.
My mission is to have an impact by transforming health and aging & learn to achieve balance and health in my own life as I age. In launching a consulting company, I achieve this by helping clients with creative strategies, making connections to build relationships & communities and using my art to spread the word.
