As a business leader, I collaborate with clients to create and implement forward-thinking strategies to maximize growth and profitability. An experienced “game changer,” I use common sense and listening skills to develop major initiatives – start-ups, turnarounds, and mature entities – in diverse markets that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in new and incremental revenue. Notable contributions:

CUSTOMER-CENTRIC LEADERSHIP. P&L control of up to $600M in domestic and international manufacturing operations.

BREAKTHROUGH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. Closed two major contracts with Canadian utility companies, valued at $165M, for purchase of new 3MW wind turbines, the first-of-kind installed anywhere in the world.

BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND TURNAROUND. Reshaped and improved a price-centered sales organization into a culture of strategic business partners focused on effectively communicating the company’s value proposition. In addition, revitalized a stagnant Switchgear business by focusing on customer relations and targeted marketing opportunities.

COMPLEX CONTRACT NEGOTIATION. Renegotiated terms and conditions of an existing contract, on the verge of falling through, resulting in a $265M business win. Delivered a 2.3% increase in customer profitability through modifications to the original deal.

RECURRING REVENUE STREAM. Developed and achieved a new multimillion-dollar recurring revenue stream by creating O&M contracts that extended services beyond the standard two-year warranty period. This yielded margins at more than double the industry standard.

STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EXECUTION. Created multiple product development opportunities, in addition to sparking five new acquisitions and three partnerships, by developing new roadmaps, identifying white spaces, and filling targeted gaps across all business areas.

Since July 2017 I've been providing Duke Energy's Retail Programs non-regulated business with marketing communications and business development sales and support. Services include 24/7 backup generation, electrical infrastructure upgrades, Smart Cities/Universities and digital infrastructure programs. Also, provide strategic advice and market guidance to help renewable energy, power generation, and transmission/distribution clients gain entry and navigate complex industrial markets, in addition to improving their top- and bottom-line performance.
